Kennedy Werre

I started teaching at Notre Dame Academy in the fall of 2022. I started my teaching career at St. Francis Xavier Elementary, where I was a part of the start up of the Sports Academy Program. Here at Notre Dame I have a Grade 7 homeroom and teach mostly Social Studies 7 & 8, Religion, Physical Education, and Grade 6 Art. I enjoy coaching all sports as it is a passion of mine to help develop multi-sport athletes that want to continue living healthy and active lifestyles for the rest of their lives. I coach the girls A Basketball team and help with Track and Field in their respective seasons. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, friends, and golden retriever dog. You can find me skiing in the winter months and hiking in the summer months in the mountains. I am always looking for my next worldly adventure to hopefully be able to integrate aspects of different cultures into my teaching practices. Helping students become more open minded, curious, and thoughtful is my ultimate goal for your children.
