Carly Desjarlais

Hi! My name is Carly Desjarlais and I teach Math 8, Science 9, and Language Arts 9 here at NDA. I also coach girls’ volleyball alongside Mr. Bosch. I have lived in Medicine Hat since I was 12 years old and I graduated from Medicine Hat High School. I received my B. Ed degree from the University of Alberta in 2010. I have been teaching at Notre Dame since the 2017/2018 school year. Throughout my career, I have taught a variety of grades from Kindergarten to Grade 9, but junior high is my absolute favourite place to be! When I am not teaching, I mostly enjoy watching my kids play hockey, baseball/softball, volleyball, and basketball. They keep me super busy! I also love the outdoors (especially cycling and camping), good books, and spending time with friends.
